Possible Causes
Drifted NTC sensor reading too low, Loose sensor connection causing intermittent readings, Control board calibration fault, Sensor relocated or bent away from heat zone
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow cooling.
Steps:
- Inspect sensor position: Ensure the probe is in its original location and not bent away from the main air stream.
- Check connector: Reseat the sensor connector on the control board to ensure a solid electrical connection.
- Test resistance: Measure sensor resistance at room temperature and compare to Klarstein specifications if available. A significantly off‑spec reading indicates a bad sensor.
- Replace sensor or board: Replace the sensor first. If H2 persists with a new sensor, the control board's calibration circuit may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
