• Inspect gasket: Look for flat spots, cracks, or missing sections in the silicone or rubber gasket. Replace if damaged.
• Clean sealing surfaces: Remove grease and carbon from the door and frame where they meet.
• Check door alignment: Tighten hinge screws and adjust if the door is sagging. On some Klarstein models, hinges can be shimmed to improve alignment.
• Test closure: Close a strip of paper in the door at various points. If it pulls out easily, the seal is weak there and gasket or door adjustment is needed.
