Possible Causes

Blown household circuit breaker, Faulty Landmann power cord, Failed internal fuse on control board, Loose or burnt connections at power inlet or terminal block

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the smoker is unplugged before opening any panels. Do not work on live circuits.

Steps to restore power:

  • Check the outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
  • Inspect the power cord: Look for cuts, frays, or melted areas. If damaged, replace the cord with the correct Landmann-rated cord.
  • Access the terminal block: Remove the rear or bottom panel to locate where the power cord connects inside. Tighten any loose screws and inspect for burnt terminals. Replace the terminal block if damaged.
  • Check internal fuse (if equipped): Some Landmann control boards have a small glass or ceramic fuse. Remove and test for continuity. Replace only with the same type and rating.
  • Reassemble and test: After securing all connections and replacing any failed components, reassemble the smoker and test for power.

Note: If power still does not reach the control board, the board itself may have an open circuit and require replacement.
