Remote control will not pair or operate the smoker, but front panel works.

• Replace remote batteries: Install fresh, high-quality batteries in the remote and ensure correct polarity.
• Re-pair the remote: Follow the Masterbuilt manual to enter pairing mode on the smoker and remote. Usually this involves holding specific buttons for several seconds.
• Reduce interference: Move away from strong WiFi routers or other 2.4 GHz devices during pairing.
• Check receiver module: If pairing fails, open the control housing and verify the wireless receiver module is connected firmly to the control board.
