Possible Causes
Loose rack supports or racks, Drip pan or water pan not seated properly, Smoker not level on ground, Loose control panel or side panels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the smoker before adjusting components.
- Level the smoker: Use a level to check the cabinet front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust legs or place shims under feet as needed.
- Secure racks and pans: Ensure all racks, the drip pan, and water pan are fully seated in their rails and not touching the cabinet walls.
- Tighten panels: Check and tighten screws on the side panels, back panel, and control housing.
- Test again: Run the smoker empty and listen for remaining rattles. Isolate and secure any remaining loose parts.
