Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or register the wrong function.

Safety first: Unplug the smoker before opening the control panel.

• Surface cleaning: Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the bezel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the display PCB.
• Drying time: If the panel was exposed to steam or spills, allow it to dry for 24 hours before retesting.
• Replace keypad/display: If specific buttons remain nonfunctional, replace the keypad membrane or the entire display PCB assembly as supplied by Ninja.
