Smoker shows E06 and will not start; fan may attempt to run briefly then stop.

Safety first: Unplug the smoker. Moving fan blades can cause injury; never work on the fan while powered.

• Access the fan: Remove the rear panel or internal fan shroud to expose the convection/circulation fan assembly.
• Check for obstructions: Remove any foil, food debris, or grease buildup preventing the fan from spinning. Clean the blades with a degreaser and cloth.
• Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. It should spin freely without grinding. If stiff or seized, the fan motor is likely failed and should be replaced.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure the fan’s connector is fully seated on the control board and that wires are not pinched or melted.
• Replacement: Remove mounting screws, disconnect the harness, and install a new Ninja-compatible convection fan motor assembly. Reassemble and test.
• If E06 persists: A functioning fan with correct wiring but continued E06 suggests a faulty fan driver or sensing circuit on the main control PCB, which may require board replacement.
