Excessive smoke leaks from door edges and control panel area during use.

Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Misaligned door hinges, Loose control panel or body seams, Overfilled wood chip tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Operate the smoker outdoors in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhaling concentrated smoke.
- Inspect door gasket: Look for cracks, tears, or flattened sections. Replace the gasket if it no longer seals evenly.
- Check door alignment: Verify the door closes squarely against the frame. Adjust hinges or latch as needed to improve contact.
- Seal body seams: If smoke escapes around the control panel or cabinet joints, tighten mounting screws. For persistent leaks, apply high-temperature food-safe silicone sealant along internal seams (not on removable panels).
- Control chip load: Avoid overfilling the wood chip tray, which can create excessive smoke volume.
