How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the smoker before inspecting connections.
- Eliminate extension cords: Plug the smoker directly into a dedicated outlet. If an extension is unavoidable, use a heavy-gauge (12–14 AWG) cord.
- Check outlet and plug: Ensure the plug fits snugly in the outlet. Replace worn outlets or use a different circuit.
- Inspect power cord and inlet: Look for heat discoloration or looseness at the smoker's power inlet. Replace the power cord or inlet if damaged.
- Control board power section: If flickering persists, the low-voltage supply on the main control board may be failing and should be replaced.
