How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the smoker before opening the control panel.

Clean surface: Wipe the keypad area with a mild cleaner and dry thoroughly. Avoid soaking the panel.
Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board. Ensure it is straight and fully inserted.
Inspect for cracks: Look for physical cracks in the keypad board or signs of corrosion. If present, the panel must be replaced.
Replace keypad assembly: Install a new control panel / keypad assembly if buttons remain unresponsive.

Display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
