How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the pan to cool before handling.
- Inspect pan shape: Place the Smokehouse water pan on a flat surface to check for rocking or warping.
- Avoid dry firing: Do not run the smoker with an empty water pan installed directly above the element.
- Replace pan: If the pan is significantly warped and unstable, replace it with a new OEM water pan designed for your model.
- Fill properly: Fill only to the recommended level to reduce thermal stress.
