How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the smoker before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- Remove the screws securing the front control panel and gently pull it forward.
- Locate the connector between the display module and the main control board. Reseat the connector firmly.
- Inspect the display for cracks or moisture behind the lens. If damaged, replace the display or entire control panel assembly.
- If the display remains dim or blank but the smoker functions, the control board's display driver may be failing; replace the board.
Note: Operating without a readable display is unsafe because you cannot verify temperature or time settings accurately.
