Charger shows E018 and the front panel buttons or touch interface do not respond.

Note: Some ABB chargers can still be controlled via app even if the local UI fails.

• Try remote control: Attempt to start/stop charging using the ABB mobile app or web interface. If this works, the issue is isolated to the UI panel.
• Power cycle: Turn power off and on to see if the UI recovers from a temporary lockup.
• Inspect panel (technician): Remove the front cover and check the ribbon cable between the UI board and main control board for secure connection and signs of damage.
• Check for moisture: Look for condensation or water marks inside the front panel. If present, dry thoroughly and improve sealing.
• Replace UI board: If the panel remains unresponsive, replace the ABB user interface board or complete front panel assembly.
