Possible Causes
Incorrect phase wiring at input terminal block, One phase missing or low, Loose connection on one line conductor, Faulty voltage sensing on one phase
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Applies to: ABB home chargers that support 3‑phase or multi-phase operation.
- Verify wiring: With power off, confirm that L1, L2, L3 (if used), neutral, and earth are connected to the correct terminals as per ABB wiring diagram.
- Measure each phase: With power on (electrician only), measure voltage between each phase and neutral, and between phases. Values should be within the specified range and relatively balanced.
- Tighten terminals: De-energize and tighten all phase terminals on the input block to the specified torque.
- Check upstream supply: Ensure the supply panel is providing all phases correctly and that no breaker has tripped.
- Board diagnosis: If supply is correct but E019 persists, the phase voltage sensing circuit on the control board may be faulty and require replacement.
