How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Overheating can lead to fire. Stop using the charger until inspected.
Steps:
- Stop charging and allow the unit to cool.
- Inspect the plug and socket for discoloration, melting, or burn marks. Replace damaged components immediately.
- Have an electrician open the charger (power OFF) and re‑torque all power terminals to manufacturer specifications.
- Verify that the supply cable size and breaker rating match the configured maximum current of the ABL charger; reduce current if necessary.
If overheating persists after tightening and verification, the contactor or socket module may need replacement.
