ABL charger shows E06 and does not allow charging; often associated with incorrect supply voltage.
Safety Warning
This repair may involve working with high voltage components or water connections. Always unplug the appliance before removing any panels.
If you are not confident in your ability to perform this repair safely, we strongly recommend contacting a professional technician.
Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Work on live supply circuits must be done by a licensed electrician.
Checks:
- Measure supply voltage: With appropriate test equipment, verify that the line‑to‑neutral and line‑to‑line voltages at the ABL input terminals are within the range specified on the nameplate.
- Verify phase configuration: Ensure that a 3‑phase ABL charger is supplied with all required phases and that a single‑phase model is not incorrectly wired.
- Tighten terminals: With power OFF, check that L1/L2/L3/N terminals are properly tightened and that no conductor is partially inserted.
- Check upstream protection: Confirm that no upstream breaker or fuse is partially tripped or undersized for the configured current.
If supply is correct: A persistent E06 with correct voltages indicates a defective voltage sensing circuit on the ABL power board. The power board should be replaced by an authorized service technician.
