Possible Causes

Blocked ventilation openings on ABL housing, High ambient temperature exceeding design limits, Failed internal cooling fan (if equipped), Faulty temperature sensor on ABL power module or main board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Overheating can damage internal components. Allow the unit to cool before further use.

Steps:

  • Check ambient conditions: Ensure the charger is not exposed to direct sunlight or installed in a confined, unventilated space. Ambient temperature should be within ABL specifications.
  • Inspect ventilation: Remove dust, cobwebs, or debris from ventilation slots using a soft brush or vacuum. Do not block vents with objects or covers.
  • Reduce charging current: If your ABL model allows current setting via DIP switches or app, temporarily reduce the maximum current and test again.
  • Listen for fan operation: On models with an internal fan, you should hear it during charging. If the fan does not run, it may be defective or obstructed.

Technician actions: If E07 recurs under normal ambient conditions, a faulty temperature sensor or fan on the ABL power module is likely. Replace the fan or the entire power module as specified by ABL service documentation.
