Possible Causes
Defective RFID reader module in ABL front panel, Damaged RFID antenna cable, Incorrect access control configuration, Faulty communication between RFID board and main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
User checks:
- Test with multiple authorized RFID cards or tags.
- Verify in the ABL app or web interface that RFID access control is enabled and that your card is registered.
- Clean the RFID reader area on the front panel; remove stickers or covers that may interfere with reading.
Installer/technician checks:
- With power OFF, open the unit and verify that the RFID module cable is firmly connected to the main control board.
- If possible, temporarily disable RFID access control in configuration to see if charging works without authentication.
Resolution: Replace the RFID reader module or front panel assembly if the reader is defective. If communication remains faulty, the main control board may also require replacement.
