Charger cannot be discovered by the Alfen app or local commissioning tool over the network.

Safety first: Network changes should be made by someone familiar with the home network.

• Step 1 – Same network: Ensure your phone or laptop is on the same LAN/subnet as the charger.
• Step 2 – Use IP address: If you know the charger’s IP, try accessing it directly via browser or tool instead of discovery.
• Step 3 – Router settings: Enable multicast and UPnP/mDNS if disabled, or add exceptions for the charger.
• Step 4 – Test wired vs wireless: If using Wi‑Fi, test discovery over Ethernet or vice versa.
• Step 5 – Reboot router and charger: Power cycle both to clear stale network states.
