Charger housing becomes unusually warm or hot to the touch during normal charging, even at moderate current.

Warning: Overheating can lead to fire. If the housing is too hot to touch comfortably, stop using the charger.

• Reduce charging current: Use the app or configuration to lower the maximum current and see if temperature remains acceptable.
• Improve airflow: Ensure the charger is not covered or enclosed and that air can circulate freely around it.
• Check for obstructions: Remove any items stored directly against or on top of the wallbox.
• Electrician inspection: Have a qualified electrician open the unit, check torque on all terminals, inspect for discoloration or melted insulation, and measure temperature rise under load. Replace any overheated components such as the contactor or terminal block.
