Danger: Ground faults can be life‑threatening. Only a qualified electrician should work on the supply wiring.

• Do not bypass earth: Never attempt to operate the charger without a proper earth connection.
• Check for obvious external issues: Confirm that no extension cords or adapters are used between the wallbox and the fixed wiring. The Amperfied charger must be hard‑wired to a properly earthed circuit.
• Have an electrician test PE continuity: A professional should verify the earth connection from the main panel to the wallbox using an installation tester, tightening any loose PE terminals in the wallbox supply block and distribution board.
• Inspect for corrosion or water ingress: Ask the technician to check for signs of moisture or corrosion around the earth terminal inside the charger. If present, the unit may need drying, sealing, or component replacement.
• If wiring is sound: The internal PE monitoring circuit on the main control board may be defective and the board will need replacement by an authorized service provider.
