Possible Causes
Faulty external current transformer (CT) clamp, Incorrect CT orientation or wiring, Loose CT connection to load management input, Defective load management controller on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: CT clamps are usually installed on live mains conductors; only an electrician should adjust them.
- Check configuration: In the Amperfied app or web interface, verify that dynamic load management is configured correctly (main fuse size, phases, etc.).
- Inspect CT cabling (visually): Ensure the small signal cable from the CT clamp to the charger is not damaged or pulled out.
- Have an electrician verify CT installation: The CT must be clamped around the correct conductor(s) with the arrow pointing in the proper direction. The electrician should correct orientation and tighten connections.
- If CT and wiring are correct: The load management input circuit on the main control board may be faulty and require board replacement.
