Possible Causes
Loose wall mounting hardware, Vibrating internal transformer or inductor, Cable strain pulling on enclosure, Resonance between charger and mounting surface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF power before tightening any mounting hardware or opening the unit.
- 1. Check wall mount:
- Verify that all mounting screws and brackets securing the AMPROAD charger to the wall are tight.
- Ensure the wall anchors are appropriate for the wall material.
- 2. Inspect internal components:
- With power OFF, open the charger and check that large components (transformer, inductor, contactor) are firmly secured.
- 3. Cable management:
- Ensure the output cable is supported and not pulling on the enclosure, which can cause vibration.
- 4. Add damping (if needed):
- Use manufacturer-approved rubber washers or spacers on mounting points to reduce resonance.
