Possible Causes

Tripped or open upstream breaker, Loose or disconnected supply wiring at charger terminal block, Failed internal auxiliary power supply, Blown internal fuse on power board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: You are dealing with live mains. Turn OFF the breaker and verify with a meter before touching any wiring. If you are not qualified, call an electrician.

  • 1. Check the breaker:
    • Verify the dedicated breaker feeding the AMPROAD charger is ON and not tripped.
    • Reset if necessary and see if the charger powers up.
  • 2. Verify supply voltage:
    • Have a qualified person measure voltage at the charger input terminals to confirm correct voltage is present.
  • 3. Inspect terminal block:
    • With power OFF, open the charger and check that all input wires are securely clamped in the terminal block.
    • Tighten any loose connections.
  • 4. Check internal fuse:
    • Locate any internal fuses on the AMPROAD power board.
    • If a fuse is blown, investigate for short circuits before replacing with the exact same type and rating.
  • 5. Auxiliary PSU check:
    • If input power is present but the display remains off, the auxiliary power supply on the power board may have failed.
    • Replace the AMPROAD power board or auxiliary PSU module.
