How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the breaker before opening the charger. Do not attempt firmware flashing unless you are authorized and have the correct AMPROAD tools.

  • 1. Power-cycle:
    • Turn OFF the breaker for 5 minutes, then turn it back ON.
    • Observe whether the display boots normally or remains in E10.
  • 2. Check internal connections:
    • With power OFF, open the charger and locate the ribbon cable or harness between the display/control board and the power board.
    • Reseat all connectors firmly.
  • 3. Inspect for damage:
    • Look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or cracked solder joints on the control board.
  • 4. Firmware / board replacement:
    • If AMPROAD provides a firmware update procedure, follow it exactly.
    • If the unit will not boot or accept firmware, replace the main control board.
  • 5. Final test: After repair, verify that the charger boots without E10 and can start a charge session.
