Possible Causes

Corrupted user authorization database, Failed RFID reader module, Communication error between reader and main board, Misconfigured access control settings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: This is a logic-level fault; standard electrical precautions still apply when opening the unit.

  • 1. Try manual override (if available):
    • Use the AMPROAD app or local menu to temporarily disable access control and test charging.
  • 2. Reset access settings:
    • Clear and re-add authorized users/cards via the app or web portal.
  • 3. Inspect RFID reader:
    • Check the reader window for cracks or water ingress.
    • With power OFF, reseat the reader’s connector on the control board.
  • 4. Firmware / configuration sync:
    • Ensure the charger has synchronized with the AMPROAD cloud (if applicable) and that firmware is up to date.
  • 5. Replace reader module: If E15 persists and the reader is unresponsive, replace the AMPROAD RFID reader module.
