Possible Causes
RTC battery failure on control board, Incorrect time zone or clock settings, Firmware bug in scheduling logic, Corrupted schedule data
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: This is a low-voltage logic issue. Standard precautions apply when opening the unit.
- 1. Disable schedule:
- In the AMPROAD app or local menu, disable all scheduled charging and attempt an immediate manual start.
- 2. Correct time settings:
- Ensure the charger’s clock and time zone are set correctly, or that it is syncing time from the network.
- 3. Clear and recreate schedules:
- Delete all existing schedules and reprogram them from scratch.
- 4. Firmware update:
- Install any AMPROAD firmware updates that address scheduling or RTC issues.
- 5. Control board replacement: If the RTC hardware is faulty (loses time when powered off) and E18 persists, replace the AMPROAD main control board.
