Possible Causes

Incorrectly installed external CT clamp on main supply, CT cable damaged or disconnected from Andersen load management input, CT orientation reversed, Faulty CT input circuit on main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: CT clamps are usually installed on live mains tails; only a qualified electrician should adjust them. Turn off power before any work near mains conductors.

User actions:

  • Check the Andersen app load management settings. If CT‑based load management is enabled but no CT is installed, disable the feature.
  • Power cycle the charger to clear the error after adjusting settings.

For an electrician:

  • Verify the CT clamp is installed on the correct conductor and in the correct orientation as per Andersen instructions.
  • Check continuity of the CT cable from clamp to the Andersen CT input terminals.
  • If wiring is correct and E17 persists, test the CT input circuit on the main control PCB and replace the PCB if necessary.
