• Lay the cable straight on the ground to remove twists, then rewind it carefully following the pattern recommended in the Andersen manual.
• Check for obvious obstructions in the cable storage area and remove any debris.

If the cable still binds or will not store:

• A technician should inspect the internal cable guides or spool mechanism (if present) and replace any broken guides.
• Check the cable for flat spots or kinks; replace the tethered cable assembly if damaged.
