Audi wallbox displays E13 and the app reports ‘Wi-Fi module error’ or ‘Network module not responding’.

Safety first: Network faults do not usually affect charging safety, but opening the unit should still be done with power off.

• Reboot the charger: Turn off the breaker for 1–2 minutes, then restore power. Many transient module faults clear after a full reboot.
• Check signal strength: Ensure the charger is within range of your Wi-Fi router and that the network is functioning. However, E13 typically indicates an internal hardware issue rather than poor signal.
• Inspect module connection: With power off and cover removed by a professional, locate the Wi-Fi/communication module (often a small daughterboard). Reseat any ribbon cables or plug-in connectors.
• Firmware update: If possible, update the charger firmware via a wired service connection. This may also update the communication module firmware.
• Replace communication module: If the module remains non-responsive, replace the Wi-Fi/communication daughterboard or the entire main control board assembly, depending on Audi’s parts availability.

Charging may still function locally without network connectivity, but remote control and updates will be unavailable until the fault is corrected.
