How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
- Power-cycle and update: Turn off the breaker, wait 2 minutes, then restore power. Check the Autel app for available firmware updates and apply them if recommended.
- Inspect metering connections: With power off, open the charger and verify that the current transformers (CTs) and voltage sense leads are securely connected to the meter or main board.
- Check for tampering: Ensure no external devices have been connected to the internal metering circuits.
- Replace meter module: If wiring is intact and firmware is current, replace the internal energy meter module or main control board according to Autel service documentation.
