Possible Causes
Engaged external emergency stop button, Open E-stop loop wiring, Faulty E-stop switch contacts, Misconfigured digital input on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Confirm there is no active emergency before resetting.
- Check E-stop button: If your Autel charger is connected to an external emergency stop, verify the button is not pressed. Twist or pull to reset according to its design.
- Inspect E-stop wiring: With power off, check the low-voltage wiring from the E-stop to the charger’s digital input terminals. Look for loose or broken wires.
- Bypass test (qualified only): Temporarily bridge the E-stop input terminals at the charger to simulate a closed loop. If E015 clears, the external E-stop or its wiring is faulty and should be repaired or replaced.
- Input configuration: Verify in the charger configuration that the digital input is correctly set for E-stop function and not misconfigured.
- Replace E-stop switch: If the switch does not reliably close its contacts, replace it with a compatible emergency stop device.
