How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to modify vehicle-side components.
- Clean connector: Inspect and gently clean the charger connector pins with contact cleaner and a soft brush.
- Try another vehicle: Test the charger with a different EV to determine if the issue is charger- or vehicle-specific.
- Reduce current setting: Lower the maximum current in the Autel app and attempt charging again. Some vehicles are more tolerant at lower currents.
- Check ground quality: Have an electrician verify a solid ground connection and correct any wiring issues.
- Update firmware: Ensure both the charger and the vehicle (via dealer) have the latest firmware to improve compatibility.
