Possible Causes
Damaged front panel keypad, Loose ribbon cable to display board, Liquid ingress into control panel, Faulty display/UI board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before removing the front panel.
- 1. Inspect front panel: Check for cracks, signs of impact, or liquid spills on the display and buttons. If the panel is physically damaged, it will likely need replacement.
- 2. Power cycle: Turn the breaker off for a few minutes, then back on. Sometimes the UI can lock up and be cleared by a reset.
- 3. Internal cable check (qualified): With power OFF, remove the front cover and locate the ribbon cable or harness connecting the display/UI board to the main control board. Reseat both ends carefully.
- 4. Drying (if liquid ingress): If moisture is suspected, disconnect power and allow the unit to dry in a warm, dry place for 24–48 hours. Do not use heat guns directly on electronics.
- 5. Replace UI board or panel: If buttons remain unresponsive or E15 persists, replace the display/UI board or complete front panel assembly as specified by Besenergy.
When to call a professional: For panel replacement or if you are not comfortable opening the unit, contact a technician.
