How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker immediately if water is suspected inside the charger. Do not operate until fully dried and inspected.

Steps to troubleshoot:

  • Open and inspect: With power OFF, open the Blink enclosure and look for water, rust, or mineral deposits.
  • Dry thoroughly: Use dry cloths and gentle airflow to dry the interior. Do not use direct heat guns on plastic components.
  • Check seals: Inspect the door gasket, cable gland, and any knockouts for gaps or cracks. Replace damaged gaskets and properly tighten or reseal glands.
  • Assess damage: Corroded terminals, relays, or boards should be replaced, not cleaned only.

After repairs and drying, restore power and monitor operation. Significant water damage often warrants replacement of the main control board and possibly the entire unit.
