Scheduling / Timer Misconfiguration
Bosch EV charger does not follow programmed charging schedules; it either charges immediately or not at all.

Possible Causes
Incorrect time zone or clock setting, Overlapping or conflicting schedules, App-cloud desynchronization, RTC drift on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal access is needed.
- Verify time settings: In the Bosch app, confirm the charger’s time zone, date, and time are correct.
- Clear and recreate schedules: Delete all existing schedules and create a single simple schedule to test behavior.
- Check vehicle settings: Ensure your EV’s own scheduling is not conflicting with the Bosch schedule. Use either the car’s schedule or the charger’s, not both.
- Firmware update: Apply any available firmware updates that address scheduling issues.
- RTC service: If the time frequently resets after power outages, the internal clock circuit may need service by a technician.
