Possible Causes
Worn membrane switches, Dirt or moisture under front panel, Damaged UI PCB, UV degradation of plastic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before attempting any cleaning around the panel.
- Clean surface: Wipe the front panel with a slightly damp cloth (water only), then dry thoroughly. Do not allow liquid to seep into seams.
- Test with app: If available, use the Bosch app to perform functions normally done by buttons. If app control works, the issue is limited to the physical UI.
- Avoid excessive force: Press buttons firmly but gently; do not use tools or sharp objects.
- Panel replacement: If buttons remain unresponsive, the front panel UI board or membrane must be replaced by a technician.
