Possible Causes
Tripped or faulty breaker, Loose line connections at charger, Blown internal fuse, Failed low-voltage power supply on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: High voltage is present at the charger terminals. Only a qualified electrician should remove covers or test live voltage.
- Check breaker: Locate the dedicated breaker for the Bosch charger in your panel. Ensure it is in the ON position. If tripped, reset once. If it trips again, do not force it; call an electrician.
- Verify outlet (plug-in models): For plug-in Bosch chargers, test the receptacle with another 240 V appliance or a multimeter (electrician recommended).
- Inspect for external damage: Look for burn marks, melted plastic, or impact damage on the charger housing. If present, leave the breaker OFF and call for service.
- Internal checks: A technician can open the unit, check the internal fuse (if fitted), and measure the low-voltage supply from the main PCB. If the internal power supply is dead, the board must be replaced.
