Possible Causes
Corrupted firmware, Failed communication between main PCB and communication module, Power interruption during firmware update, Defective communication daughterboard
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset the breaker in rapid succession; allow electronics to discharge between resets.
- Full power reset: Turn OFF the breaker for at least 5 minutes. This allows internal capacitors to discharge and modules to fully reset. Turn ON and check if E107 clears.
- Check for firmware update procedure: If your Bosch model supports app-based updates, follow Bosch’s official instructions to check for and apply the latest firmware. Do not interrupt power during the update.
- Disable smart features temporarily: If possible, disable Wi‑Fi or smart scheduling in the app and test basic plug-and-charge operation. If E107 disappears, the communication module may be unstable.
- Contact Bosch support: Provide the model, serial number, and firmware version. They may supply a specific reset or update file.
- Module replacement: Persistent E107 often indicates a failed communication daughterboard or main PCB, which must be replaced by a technician.
