Possible Causes
Faulty RFID reader module, Damaged front panel antenna, Corrupted authorized card list, Interference from metal objects near reader
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No high-voltage work is required for this fault.
- Remove obstructions: Ensure no metal plates, stickers with foil, or thick covers are placed over the RFID reader area on the front of the charger.
- Test with multiple cards/fobs: Try more than one authorized Bosch RFID card or fob. If none are recognized, the reader or configuration is suspect.
- Reprogram access list: Using the Bosch app or configuration tool, clear and re-add authorized RFID cards following the manual.
- Disable authentication (if allowed): Temporarily disable RFID access control and test if the charger operates normally without it.
- Module replacement: If E301 persists, the RFID reader module or front panel assembly may need replacement by a service technician.
