Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between display and main PCB, Failed LED/display board, Moisture ingress at front panel, Firmware mismatch between UI and main board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before removing any front covers.

  • Observe behavior: Note whether the charger still charges the vehicle despite the display error. If charging works, the fault is likely limited to the UI.
  • Check for condensation: Look for fogging or moisture under the front lens. If present, allow the unit to dry and improve weather protection if installed outdoors.
  • Power reset: Turn OFF the breaker for 5 minutes, then ON. Temporary UI communication glitches can clear.
  • Service inspection: A technician can open the front panel, reseat the ribbon cable between the display/LED board and main PCB, and replace the UI board if necessary.
