Step 1 – Check breaker:
- Locate the dedicated EVSE breaker and ensure it is fully in the ON position.
- Reset by switching OFF then ON if it appears tripped.
Step 2 – Test outlet or hardwired feed:
- For plug-in models, test the receptacle with another 240 V appliance or a multimeter.
- For hardwired units, have an electrician verify voltage at the charger disconnect or input terminals.
Step 3 – Internal fuse (qualified):
- With power OFF, open the charger housing.
- Locate any internal low-voltage fuse on the main control board or power supply module.
- Test and replace with the exact same type and rating if blown.
Step 4 – Board power supply:
- If fuses are intact and AC is present at the input, but no low-voltage LEDs or signs of life on the board, the onboard power supply has likely failed.
- Replace the main control board or dedicated power supply module as per ChargePoint documentation.
