How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Do not repeatedly power cycle during an active firmware update unless instructed by the manufacturer.
- Step 1 – Stabilize network:

- Avoid heavy internet use during the update.
- Step 2 – Retry update:
- Use the ChargePoint app to manually trigger the firmware update again.
- Wait until the process completes; this may take several minutes.
- Step 3 – Power cycle after failure:
- If the charger is stuck, turn OFF the breaker for 2 minutes, then turn it back ON.
- Allow the charger to attempt recovery.

- Follow ChargePoint instructions to perform a factory reset via the app or local interface.
- Reconfigure the charger and attempt the update again.
