How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is primarily a cosmetic/indication issue; charging may still be safe.
- Step 1 – App verification:
- Use the ChargePoint app to confirm charger status while LEDs are malfunctioning.
- Step 2 – Power cycle:
- Turn OFF the breaker for 1 minute, then turn it back ON.
- Check if LED behavior returns to normal.
- Step 3 – Internal check (qualified):
- With power OFF, open the housing.
- Inspect the LED ring module and its wiring harness to the UI or main board.
- Reseat connectors.
- Step 4 – Replace LED module:
- If wiring is intact but LEDs remain out or stuck, replace the LED ring / status light assembly.
