Possible Causes
Failed low-voltage power supply module on control board, Shorted component on logic circuit, Overheating of internal DC-DC converter, Loose low-voltage harness connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before opening the enclosure. Do not touch any exposed conductors.
- Step 1 – Power reset: Turn OFF the breaker for 10 minutes, then turn it back ON. Observe if the charger boots normally or immediately shows E09.
- Step 2 – Check for moisture or insects: Remove the cover and inspect for insect nests, spider webs, or moisture on the control board that could cause shorts. Gently clean with compressed air (power OFF).
- Step 3 – Inspect connectors: Verify that all low-voltage harness connectors between the power supply section and the display/Wi-Fi module are fully seated.
- Step 4 – Temperature check: If the charger is installed in a very hot area, improve ventilation and retest after cooling.
- Step 5 – Board replacement: Persistent E09 usually indicates a failed internal power supply on the main PCB, which requires board replacement by a service technician.
