Green POWER LED on, blue CHARGING LED on solid, but vehicle reports 'Not Charging' or state of charge does not increase.

Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before opening or servicing the EVSE. The internal contactor carries full line voltage and current.

• Verify with another EV: Plug a different vehicle into the EVSE to rule out a vehicle-side fault.
• Listen for contactor click: With the cover on and breaker ON, plug in the vehicle. You should hear a distinct click from inside the unit when charging starts. No click suggests the contactor is not energizing.
• Check supply voltage: With a qualified electrician and appropriate meter, verify correct line voltage at the EVSE input lugs (e.g., ~240 VAC for HCS series). Low or missing leg can prevent proper operation.
• Inspect contactor (advanced): With power OFF and cover removed, visually inspect the contactor for heat discoloration, melted plastic, or burned terminals. Tighten any loose lugs to manufacturer torque specs.
• Measure coil resistance: With power OFF, disconnect the contactor coil leads and measure resistance. An open coil indicates a failed contactor that must be replaced.

If the CHARGING LED is on but no power is delivered to the vehicle and the contactor does not operate correctly, the main contactor or control board should be replaced by a qualified technician.
