Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker and verify with a tester before opening the EVSE. High voltage is present at the input lugs.
- Check breaker: Verify the breaker feeding the EVSE is not tripped. Reset if necessary and see if LEDs come on.
- Measure input voltage: With a qualified electrician, measure voltage at the EVSE input terminals. If no voltage is present, the issue is upstream.
- Inspect internal fuse: With power OFF and cover removed, locate any internal fuses on the control board or power entry. Test continuity; replace only with identical type and rating if blown.
- Check connectors: Ensure any plug-in connectors between the power entry and control board are fully seated.
If input voltage is correct and fuses are intact but the unit remains dead, the control board's low-voltage power supply has likely failed and the board must be replaced.
