Possible Causes

Aging electrolytic capacitors on control board, Failing low-voltage regulator, Overheating of control board, Loose low-voltage connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before opening the EVSE. Low-voltage circuits are near high-voltage components.

  • Check ambient temperature: Ensure the EVSE is not installed in an area exceeding its temperature rating.
  • Inspect board (power OFF): Look for bulging or leaking capacitors, especially near the low-voltage supply section.
  • Reseat connectors: Gently unplug and replug any low-voltage harnesses to ensure good contact.

If dim or unstable LEDs persist, the control board's power supply is failing and the board should be replaced to prevent sudden loss of function.
