STATUS LED flashing 6 times repeatedly (6-blink pattern), no charging output.
Safety Warning
This repair may involve working with high voltage components or water connections. Always unplug the appliance before removing any panels.
If you are not confident in your ability to perform this repair safely, we strongly recommend contacting a professional technician.
Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only a qualified electrician should measure live voltages inside the EVSE. Turn OFF the breaker before opening the unit.
- Verify breaker rating: Confirm the EVSE is connected to the correct double-pole breaker size and type as specified on the nameplate.
- Measure line voltage: With a meter and qualified person, measure voltage between L1 and L2 at the EVSE input. It should match the unit rating (typically ~208–240 VAC). Also check each leg to ground.
- Check for loose connections: With power OFF, inspect and tighten all input lugs. Loose connections can cause voltage drop and out-of-range conditions.
- Panel issues: If one leg is missing or voltage is unstable, have an electrician inspect the service panel, breaker, and upstream wiring.
Do not attempt to operate the EVSE on an incorrect voltage. Correct the supply wiring or consult an electrician. If supply is correct and the 6-blink persists, the control board voltage sensing circuit may be defective.
