Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker immediately if water is suspected inside the EVSE. Do not operate until fully dry and inspected.
- Dry the unit: With power OFF and cover removed, allow the EVSE to dry completely in a warm, dry environment. Use gentle airflow; do not use direct heat guns.
- Inspect seals: Check the perimeter gasket, cable gland, and any conduit fittings for cracks, gaps, or improper installation.
- Replace gaskets: Install new OEM gaskets or seals if any are damaged or compressed.
- Reassemble carefully: Ensure the cover is seated evenly and all screws are tightened uniformly to compress the gasket.
After drying and resealing, restore power and test. If corrosion or damage is found on the control board, it should be replaced.
